BACHELOR YEAR THREE
Auckland housing prices keep rising nearly 20% over the past year, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for first buyers to afford to stay in the city. However by using the strategy from Cohousing which is a community with an intentional community; each household has its own self-contained, personal and private home. The initial in the group contributed significantly to the design of the cohousing community and taken action in creating the community, and the design encourages social interaction.

The site is located 161 Kupe Street in Orakei. The concept is to produce a mid-density mix use development.

The design included 16 unit with studio and 3 bedrooms design. The common house is located in the spectre for the focus point.

Floor plan development has spectre into two units in a house. The top has developed a studio apartment and the bottom is a three bedroom living.

Have design on the mid-level which is able to provide entry for both apartments.
Studio Apartment
It has divided into two levels to receive maximum sunlight for rooms, the living room is a link with an outdoor space and provided a double facade.
Three Bedroom Apartment
The design has integrated a spirt floor system that the ground floor bedroom is able to create a fully private outdoor space and allow light to get into. Light is able to shine into the middle of the living room from the court.
