The project aims to design parklets along Devonport’s shopfronts by using the San Francisco Parklet Manual. To present the design as a series of models to produce a complete street of Parklets. This is required to design a Parklet in front of the heritage buildings. The design should respect that addresses both the heritage and waterfront context of Devonport and respect Te Aranga design principles. Therefore by designing a Parklet and adding to the original building. This can show the relationship between the past and the new design.
