THE SHELTER - FIBRE

BACHELOR YEAR THREE

The shelter is a movable resting area, that can be used in anywhere, the design has integrated with human movement when they are doing different activities. Visitor can see the change of the structure from the exterior. Moreover, the interior can be changed anytime from the shift of weight or movement inside the shelter. The fabrication can be easy to be assembled and transport.

The model starts by arranging papers model to create the shape, meantime understanding the space and structure movement.

The top structure is created by timber, that has been tested different type of pattern and timber to understand the quality of banding. The netting below has created a resting area for the visitors.
